Question: Are the punisher comic books ok for kids to read?

Judging from the movie i would say not. If by kids you mean teenagers i guess it's all right. They can handle that kind of stuff.

Lately it was published under MAX (mature reader) imprint so that's self-explanatory. The pre-Max perhaps is if you read an issue and think it is.

It's about a man who watched his family murdered before his eyes by a botched mob hit, so he decides to take revenge by killing criminals. You be the judge if that's good reading materials for kids. I loved it when I was in high school, though. (late 80's)
